The history of pillows is very
interesting because we see the development of Pillow from ancient times to the present day. Over time, the shape has changed
with the pillow material. The rich in Greece rested their heads and feet on
embroidered pillows and cushions. The Egyptians believe that the head is the
abode of life, and pay more attention to the pillow and rest of the deceased.
The Chinese believed that a soft
pillow steals the body's vitality and makes their pillows made of wood, ceramic
or leather. They believed that putting plants in a pillow would cure diseases
and could turn dark white hair, restore lost teeth and give sweet dreams.
For centuries, people have raised
their heads using not only pillows, but large cylindrical armrests. The filling
was usually the width of the bed and filled with the bottom or some kind of
beating and then closed. He placed it on his head deck to support the pillow. A
pair of pillows were placed at each end of the Sleepgram Pillow. The sleeper is
almost done. This idea continued in the mid-nineteenth century, believing that
it was beneficial to the body.
In the nineteenth and twentieth
centuries, bed pillows began to take on a new look and become more luxurious in
appearance. Large square pillows were placed in a decorative pillowcase and
then placed on pillows used for sleeping.
In the 1840s, when cotton became
easier to obtain, American women rolled pillows by hand and decorated them with
needles and inserted the first letters of each pillow. As the American textile
industry flourished in the nineteenth century, linen pillows are still being
replaced by the cotton of the time, which can be seen on the pillars.
Traditionally, the pillows were
filled with feathers, but as they changed, so did the outer material. Natural
batting was replaced with polyester fabric because it was able to retain its
shape. It was cheaper and easier to wash.
Shaking or filling is an
important feature of the pillow. The best filler is to use great costs. It is
made of a thin layer of duck. There is a wing point at the bottom, but there is
no column that makes it more flexible. Below are thousands of sets that reserve
hot air and thus prevent heat loss. Abundant ducks at reasonable prices. The
strength of the filling is classified below the size of the scale area. The
larger the volume, the better the filling capacity. Although the wings are
firm, they are not soft. Duck feathers are commonly used in American pillows.
Some manufacturers will mix with feathers to make the pillow more comfortable
and cheaper.
Polyester is a very popular
synthetic material. Cheap polyester is one of the well-formed continuous solid
yarns, but unfortunately it quickly loses its scaffolding. The best polyester
is halophilic, which consists of a continuous filament fiber with a hollow core
that gives the Sleepgram Pillow
a longer scaffolding with cheap polyester.
The pillow case is determined by
the filling of the pillow. The pillowcase is either cotton or polyester cotton
with different textures depending on the filling used. Up and down padding
requires very tight, tightly woven fabrics that protect the column from holes
and sleeper seams, and this will prevent all fabric from being left behind.
Sometimes these caps have starch
during production, which makes them harder and less able to penetrate the
feathers of the fabric. A strong thread is needed to sew the pillow. In the
next article, I will look at the construction of pillows, cushions and various
pillows.
